Carnevale in Mamoiada (February 15 and 17, 2026) immerses you in the rich culture of Sardinia’s festivities. The decorated streets of this ancient village come alive with haunting rhythms of cowbells, hypnotic movements of dancers, and tradition preserved through centuries: it’s a celebration of history, mythology and community.

You will watch the Mamuthones, cloaked in black sheepskins with grotesque wooden masks, moving in slow, ritualistic dances. Meanwhile, the Issohadores, with vibrant red shirts and white masks, wield lassos to capture the dancers (and spectators!).

This is a 3-hour cooking experience at the Amal Women’s Cooperative Center, founded by the remarkable Nora Fitzgerald Belahcen. Rooted in empowerment and inclusion, the experience offers a hands-on introduction to Moroccan cuisine while celebrating the social impact of food.

You’ll begin with a short introduction to Amal’s mission—supporting women from vulnerable backgrounds by training them in the culinary arts. You’ll be guided by a small, welcoming team trained in the spirit of Amal’s mission: to use food not only as craft and culture, but as a path to opportunity and connection. Argentina

This creative photography experience in Buenos Aires is designed for newbie photography enthusiasts, those with existing knowledge about composition, and advanced photographers seeking ways to improve their cityscape and landscape photography. The locations are a variety of rooftop settings with remarkable views of the city, many of which are not known by tourists or are even off-limits to the average sightseer. 

During the course of the route, you will take in a panoramic view of Puerto Madero, Corrientes Avenue, and its Obelisk from an exclusive rooftop perch. You will soak up 360-degree views of Florida Avenue and the beautiful domes of May Avenue from a 14-floor aerial viewpoint. You’ll spy the historically poignant Plaza de Mayo from the Cabildo balconies and gasp at the sight of Recoleta Cemetery view from two bird’s eye vantage points—one of which is restricted to the general public. At each sight, Bernardo will provide expert photography tips and share anecdotes.

This rooftop photography excursion elevates your experience in Buenos Aires to new heights! Guided by a professional photographer and artist, you will train your eye on the beauty of the city while also discovering hidden elements of both the architecture and the inner workings of the city. Most of the locations are high-altitude spots which are unknown or even closed to foreign travelers. His associates, Luca and Nicola, also bring their unique perspectives and skills to the tours, ensuring a diverse and comprehensive learning experience. Depending on the day of your tour, you will be accompanied by Marco, Luca, or Nicola.

This is a full-day guided trek through the High Atlas Mountains, starting and ending in the village of Imlil. Your journey begins with a gradual climb through Tamatert, a quiet mountain village with stone homes and terraced fields, before reaching the Tidli Plateau at 2,350 meters. This wide-open ridge offers stunning 360° views of the surrounding peaks and valleys, often with no one else in sight. The trail then continues to the Isk Summit at 2,500 meters, offering even more expansive vistas, including sights of Mount Toubkal. 

Afterward, the path continues downhill past terraced farmland and the peaceful Amadin Waterfall—an ideal spot to rest your legs and soak in the mountain air. You’ll then pass through the sleepy village of Achain before returning to Imlil by late afternoon. The trek takes around 5–6 hours at a moderate pace and is ideal for reasonably fit hikers looking for a quiet, off-the-beaten-path route filled with natural beauty and mountain hospitality.

Hiking to the rarely visited Tidli Plateau, a panoramic ridge with sweeping views of Mount Toubkal—a ridge offering panoramic views seldom seen by visitors, makes this special. Unlike the busier trails leading to the Toubkal summit, this path is peaceful and lesser-known—ideal for travelers who want to experience the rhythm of the mountains without the crowds. 

The trail is richly varied, from forested switchbacks to sunlit plateaus, cultivated fields and rushing streams. Your guide, deeply familiar with the land, will share insights into the area's traditions and the significance of local landmarks. 

Lunch is a generous, home-cooked Berber meal in the village of Armed, served with mountain views and genuine warmth. The final stretch past the Amadin Waterfall offers a moment of calm before your return. It’s a day filled with connection—to land, tradition, a slower way of moving, far from the buzz of the Medina.
