What is this?
Take a guided walk through Guadalajara’s most vibrant quarters—Chapu and Americana—where design, culture and cuisine meet in harmony. Known for their mix of historic architecture, creative spaces and lively street life, these neighborhoods have gained international recognition as hubs of contemporary culture.
You’ll start at a local spot serving some of the city’s best cazuelitas, classic Mexican finger food. The owner will share the history behind the dish and stories from Mexican culinary tradition. Next, your host—a long-time Guadalajara local—will guide you through the area, sharing cultural insights and context. Along the way, you'll visit standout design and art shops, including Galería Adentro, where the curator will offer behind-the-scenes insight into the gallery’s collection and exhibiting artists.
The experience ends with a drink and aperitivo at a place known for pushing the boundaries of local cuisine. It’s one of the best ways to connect with the city’s creative pulse.
What makes this unique?
Curated by a fashion artist rooted in experience design and sociocultural story telling, this journey offers a deep dive into the city’s living canvas through conscious style, local flavors and immersive encounters.
Far beyond a typical city tour, this experience invites you to truly connect with the people, spaces and stories that shape Americana and Chapultepec (known locally as Chapu) today.
Drinks and food will be chosen not only for their authentic Mexican flavours, but also because they are examples of how gastronomy has transformed and been innovated in recent years.
Natalia is a long-term resident of Guadalajara and can't wait to make you feel at home in her city. With her flawless English she is the perfect person to help you interact with other inspiring locals along the way. At the end of the experience she can also provide a curated list of suggestions for places to go shopping, eating, dancing, etc.
What is the profile of the host?
Born in Colima and shaped by Guadalajara’s creative pulse, Natalia is a fashion designer with a heart rooted in art, sustainability, and the sociology of style. Her path began with textiles but soon expanded into experience design: curating moments that merge visual culture, human connection, and purposeful aesthetics.
Years in the service industry sharpened her instinct for detail, while a deep curiosity for fashion sociology ignited her passion to craft experiences that feel personal, immersive, and unforgettable. Today, she works within the art world, connecting collectors, creators, and ideas through curated events and meaningful encounters. She can't wait to show you her favourite corners of Guadalajara, and also share the work
