This full-day architectural odyssey takes place in East Santiago. Diego, a professional architect, unravels the capital's modern history by exposing marvels that have shaped the contemporary identity of Chilean architecture. The sites visited are not part of the conventional tourist circuit—these buildings and sites reveal the deeper identity of Chilean architecture and culture at a higher level. 

Now home to some of Santiago’s most developed districts, this eastern zone began to consolidate in the 1960s under the garden city model. Greece

This immersive, sensorial experience spans two half-days, honoring the ancestral craft of sourdough bread-making. Inspired by the ancient Greek myths of goddess Demeter and her daughter Persephone, it combines bread-making, storytelling and mindful rituals that honor the sacred grain of wheat.

On the first half-day, you’ll learn about the ancestral art of sourdough breadmaking, delving into the significance of wheat in ancient Greece and its connection to Demeter. Through a mindful practice, you’ll prepare the dough, engaging with the wheat, your senses and the land of Athens. The bread is left to ferment overnight.

On the second half-day, you’ll bake the bread and share it in a ritual of togetherness. Paired with curated seasonal local foods, this mindful eating ritual fosters community and gratitude. Andrea is an anthropologist by training, Master Mezcalier by trade, and a singer. She has fifteen years of experience promoting Guerrero State's mezcal culture and traditions, an area not typically associated with mezcal, but with plenty of flavors that are a joy to discover.

Andrea's own work in mezcal emerged from an extensive family history, where numerous memories and experiences have been intrinsically linked to the enjoyment of this spirit, always accompanied by good food and music. Since 2010, Andrea has been an integral part of the new narrative being woven around mezcal from Guerrero, actively contributing to its recognition and appreciation both nationally and internationally. 

Andrea's knowledge encompasses not only the specific culture of Guerrero, but extends to the diverse traditions that exist throughout the length and breadth of Mexico. She is certified as a Master Mezcalier and as a Leader in Food and Beverage Sensory Evaluation.

Set against the stunning Tyrrhenian Sea along the Amalfi Coast, just 1 hour south of Naples, you’ll gather near Matteotti Square in Vietri sul Mare, a coastal town famous for its ceramics. The lush gardens overlooking the sea provide a peaceful setting.

Using grease pencils on paper, you’ll capture the breathtaking scenery while Elvira, a skilled ceramic artist, shares the town’s rich history and its centuries-old ceramic tradition. As you sketch, she’ll weave in local stories and artistic insights. Then, you’ll enjoy a leisurely stroll and a snack, soaking in Vietri’s vibrant, colorful ceramic-tiled streets.

Next, at Elvira’s workshop, you’ll transfer your sketch onto a glazed 20x20 cm tile, learning majolica painting techniques. Step by step, she’ll guide you through the process, helping you bring your vision to life. Once complete, the tile will be fired and glazed, a lasting keepsake of your journey

Experience the elegance of the Nani Bernardo Palace, designed by Architect Vittoria in 1550. Marvel at its harmonious aspect, enriched by a valuable hidden Venetian garden. Should Nani Bernardo be unavailable, the alternative stop is Ca' Rezzonico Palace, another marvel of Venetian architecture - or a similar equally stunning palace, specially selected by Lucia. 

This is a private palace that is accessible only by appointment and with the help of our connection with Lucia. 

Designed by Architect Vittoria, on commission from the Bernardo family, the Palace was built in 1550. 
Around 200 years ago, the current owner's ancestors added a new Italian garden to the palace, demolishing a series of houses on the side closest to the Grand Canal in the process and gave the Palazzo Nani Bernardo an entirely new, and harmonious aspect that is still evident today.

Another element is the really valuable back garden, very nice and extraordinarily extended in length, made during the eighteenth century. In case Nani Bernardo is booked out for a private event, we will replace this stop with Ca. Rezzonico Palace or an equally stunning palace.

This is one of the last remaining boatyards of Venice. Typically hard to access since it's a working facility and tours are not provided without prior notice. It's also essential to have someone local to interpret the workings of the place for you. [Note: There are times when the Squero is closed for maintenance. In these instances, Lucia will ensure that you see the Squero from the outside and explain the workings in the best possible way.]

Jamaica

The Man Who Built the Coolest Bar in the World. That would be a Jamaican fisherman from Saint Elizabeth called Floyd who thought it would be nice to have a place where he and his buddies could hang out to and from their fishing ventures. He built the bar on a sandbar a mile off the coast in Parottee Bay out of driftwood (the wood was restored after Hurricane Ivan in 2004). In between dips in the turquoise water, you can sip a Red Stripe, eat freshly grilled snapper and play dominoes. Or catch up with Floyd at the bar. Someday, I’d like to watch the sunset from there.

Antalya, Turkey, is home to the magnificent Hadrian’s Gate, a 2nd-century Roman triumphal arch that serves as the grand entrance to the city’s historic Kaleiçi (Old Town). Built in 130 AD to honor Emperor Hadrian’s visit, this three-arched marble gateway is one of the best-preserved Roman structures in Turkey. With its intricate carvings, towering Corinthian columns, and ancient road beneath, Hadrian’s Gate is a must-see for history lovers and photographers alike.


1. The ornate marble façade, adorned with intricate floral and geometric carvings, showcases Roman craftsmanship at its finest.

2. The three grand archways, framed by towering Corinthian columns, create a dramatic entry into Antalya’s charming Old Town.
