Susana and Angelo are passionate founders who put in their heart and talents to the development of the center and the support for the grannies. Susana is a designer and Angelo is a psychologist, both believe in the natural potential of people, who just need the right stage to shine.


Peru

Explore two of Cusco’s most distinctive markets, moving beyond surface-level browsing into conversation, context and culture. Your day begins at San Pedro Market, the city’s long-established central market — designed in 1925 by Gustave Eiffel’s workshop and still serving as a supply hub for locals. Here, aisles of Andean produce, cheeses, tubers, medicinal herbs, and prepared dishes sit alongside stalls of textiles, silverwork and crafts — a commercial ecosystem where Cusqueños shop, trade and share recipes.

From there, you move to Centro Artesanal, a craft market where artisans sell and sometimes create on site. Yessika, an educator with local connections and credibility, facilitates exchanges with vendors, opening conversations for you about materials, techniques, meaning and personal stories.

There is time to photograph the markets and purchase items from vendors and artisans, should you wish. You’ll discover a sense of community that makes your visit more personal and impactful.

Visiting San Pedro Market and Centro Artesanal with Yessika reframes Cusco’s markets as cultural archives. Her insider knowledge and connections help you see the products on display as objects of labor and lineage: potato varieties brought from nearby valleys, medicinal herbs still valued in traditional healing, alpaca textiles dyed and woven by hand, or ceremonial qeros cups carved from sacred wood.

At San Pedro, the scale and structure of trade reflect local patterns of exchange - fresh juices and pan chuta sit beside medicinal remedies and street food that feed daily life. At Centro Artesanal, vendors often make items in real time, continuing craft traditions that anchor Andean identity while adapting to contemporary demand. Through conversations with these makers, you gain insights that are not otherwise visible.

Irish-born Daniel O’Shea and Peruvian-born Delsi Espinoza are the co-founders of an archaeology venture that contributes to the preservation of Cusco and the Sacred Valley's cultural heritage. The couple have teamed up on archaeological projects across Cusco's Southern and Sacred Valleys. 

For this experience, they place you in the safe hands of Yessika Espinoza, Delsi’s sister. A cultural expert and educator based in Cusco, Yessika is able to explain the intricacies of local dishes, focusing on ingredients, preparation methods, regional variations, and cultural significance while sharing personal stories. Additionally, Yessika is a source of knowledge on the work of local artisans, collaborating with them to highlight their crafts, including weaving, pottery, and jewelry making. Through her work, she promotes awareness and appreciation for Peru's cultural heritage, inspiring others to embrace the richness of the Andes.

Chile

This 3-hour photography experience takes place on the periphery of Valparaíso in the Playa Ancha district. Upon meeting your host in a storied cafe, you'll warm up over coffee while shooting textured interiors and panoramic vistas from the roof terrace. David will then weave you past pastel-hued mansions from the 19th century and neighborhood bakeries, sharing photography tips and anecdotes.

A leisurely gander brings you to Paseo 21 de Mayo—one of Valparaíso's most enthralling viewpoints. It's wise to carry cash should you wish to purchase a souvenir from the street vendors who you'll liaise with through Daniel. The route then passes through narrow streets adorned with murals and "playful" photo spots where you have a choice of sampling a completo (Chilean hot dog) or empanada and an ice cream with humble origins and a curious legacy. The experience ends at the oldest mansion on Cerro Artillería—a photographic treasure trove—where you may opt to stick around for lunch or a Pisco Sour.

Not only does this experience expose a neighborhood where few tourists tread, but your host will train your eye on hidden details. David will demonstrate how to capture the essence of these dollhouse facades—some of which retain their original glory, others stand in disheveled beauty. Using a DSLR camera or your smartphone, you'll experiment with colors and textures.

Curated as a sensory exchange, you'll tune into the sounds of the port, the persistent sea breeze, the holler of ice cream vendors, and the rattle of wooden doors. You'll inhale the scent of fresh bread while snapping local bakeries. In his intimate atelier, you’ll observe the artisan, Osvaldo, sculpting trinkets from Chilean lapis lazuli.

The experience fuses photography, food, and connection. With David at your side, you'll chat with artisans, taste beloved street eats, and dip into pop culture. Rather than aimless pointing and clicking, every photo captured is a chapter telling the story of your time in Valparaíso.

Growing up amid the windswept dunes of Concón and the bohemian streets of Valparaíso kindled David's appreciation for photography, nature, and art. He graduated from the University of Playa Ancha and went on to work as a Software Engineer, while flexing his skills behind the lens. 

As a self-taught photographer, David has honed his talent working with both landscapes and portraiture. He has an experimental style and a keen eye for spotting easily-missed details He has a special ability to see the potential in the simple aspects of local reality and culture, and always seeks to capture them in an original way through his photography. He works with a Canon DSLR, using 50mm and 18-55mm lenses for regular shots and a 300mm lens to capture distant subjects with clarity and depth.

David draws upon his extensive archive of travel photography experiences while mentoring those visiting Valparaíso on how to capture the beauty of a city and why you should look beyond what's at eye level.

Bertie, an English Sommelier, and Aby, an Argentine chef, are a Buenos Aires-based couple dedicated to sharing food, wine, and excellent company. In the afternoon, you collect the car and head south, leaving the city behind. A stop at the Corinth Canal marks your entry into the Peloponnese before arriving in Nafplio by early evening.
DAY 2 – NAFPLIO | Late morning brings a guided wine-focused experience that deepens your understanding of Nafplio and its surrounding region. The afternoon is open for independent exploration along the waterfront or through the old town. With no driving today, the pace resets before longer distances ahead.
