Andrea is an anthropologist by training, Master Mezcalier by trade, and a singer. She has fifteen years of experience promoting Guerrero State's mezcal culture and traditions, an area not typically associated with mezcal, but with plenty of flavors that are a joy to discover.

Andrea's own work in mezcal emerged from an extensive family history, where numerous memories and experiences have been intrinsically linked to the enjoyment of this spirit, always accompanied by good food and music. Since 2010, Andrea has been an integral part of the new narrative being woven around mezcal from Guerrero, actively contributing to its recognition and appreciation both nationally and internationally.

Douk grew up in a home filled with enticing smells and flavors, fostering his love for food and leading him to pursue a career centered around it. After gaining experience abroad, he returned to join the family business, eager to share his culinary knowledge and ensure guests feel at home. Chile

Chilean textile entrepreneur Florencia “Flor” Campos Correa has curated this experience as a cultural commentary on Chilean/Andean handcrafts and an opportunity to connect with modern makers in Santiago. 

It starts with a relaxed hike up the grassy slopes of Cerro Calán in Las Condes for panoramic views of the modern city and surrounding Andes — the birthplace of Chilean textile crafts. During this, Flor explains artisanal culture and discusses how her own methods fuse Indigenous, modern, and global techniques. This gentle walk takes around an hour and is suitable for most fitness levels. 

The second part of the experience takes place at Los Dominicos Craft Village, a traditional heritage zone and cultural hub dating to 1544. Flor will enable conversations with artisans and provide cultural context to their methods. She will help you buy trinkets typical of Chile: textiles, ceramics, woodwork, copperware, lapis lazuli and Mapuche silver. There is one stop for empanadas in the market.

Flor's experience is an opportunity to learn about Chilean textile culture in a natural setting and connect with authentic artisans. 

The first part of the activity takes place in one of Flor’s favorite hiking spots in the upscale Las Condes district, where you'll learn about the cultural significance of handmade crafts to a backdrop of nature and urban. As a textile industrial designer who has traveled extensively around Chile, Flor is a fountain of knowledge about her country and its makers; she looks to the past while embracing innovation in her line of work.

The rest of the experience is spent meandering the stalls of the famous Los Dominicos Craft Village. Artisans set up workshops in these adobe structures during the 1970s/1980s which now function as a shopping hub with informal demonstrations. Flor's bilingual presence facilitates discussion and creates a richer, more immersive experience. She will explain the significance of materials and motifs displayed at these stalls.

Florencia Campos Correa, or Flor, is a Chilean-Spanish textile designer and author based in Santiago. Her business, Ullvuna, is dedicated to portable pin loom weaving kits which are available globally. Much of Flor's inspiration comes from her passion and appreciation for Chilean culture and people. She deeply admires the landscapes and nature as well as the ancient fables she absorbed as a child while traveling every corner of Chile by caravan with her family.

Flor has authored several books packed with vibrant pattern inspiration and projects. Her nature motifs are translated into floral crochet designs published in a British magazine and she has penned a children's story which inspires creativity and entrepreneurship in the youngest of budding designers. 

Italy

This experience is centered on the historic workshops that still give life to Testaccio, a district shaped by labor and craftsmanship. At its heart is a rare encounter inside a restoration atelier founded in 1987, where antique dolls are brought to life. Your host Irene will introduce you to her parents Gianni and Eliana - the founders - who share the delicate process of repairing porcelain faces and preserving the memories these objects carry.

The walk continues through the neighborhood and the stories that influenced its identity: the old slaughterhouse complex, the amphora-stacked hill known as Monte dei Cocci, and the covered market that still anchors local life. Irene brings a deep knowledge of Testaccio’s social history, showing how her family’s workshop grew out of the same working-class fabric that defines the district.

The experience ends with a stop at a historic pastry shop where you’ll taste a maritozzo con panna and learn the story behind its name — and generous filling.

Inside this tiny space, just 20 square meters, antique dolls, tin toys, puppets, and carillons are gently brought back to life—a rare craft that survives in only a handful of places in Rome. Despite its unassuming exterior, the interior of La Scala is a blend of neoclassical style and modern comforts, with the individual boxes once decorated according to the owner's tastes. 3 - Renowned for its near-perfect acoustics, La Scala is a challenging yet prestigious stage for the world’s most talented performers. The acoustics are so fine-tuned that even the type of rope used backstage is chosen for its sound qualities. The charming, well-preserved streetscapes of the heritage town in Old Lijiang Is perfect for getting lost  The winding streets lure you in - and shops selling Tiquanyin tea, handmade paper, musical drums, souvenirs and food vie for the attention of tourists. 

The Naxi people of Lijiang are proud, artistic and musically talented. It's a matriarchal society, one that I relate well to, and I enjoyed my interactions with the wise women I meet.

In the market square in Lijiang Old Town, groups of Naxi women get together to perform a few dances. There is no clear structure for their activity, and the women seem to be on their own schedule - some leave after a couple of dances, others hang around. Besides their traditional costume, what is common among them is their energy and zest for life.
