The next chapter of the experience takes you to two of the most iconic neighborhoods in Buenos Aires: San Telmo and La Boca. In San Telmo, you will meander the stalls of Mercado de San Telmo and Plaza Dorrego with the opportunity to pick up souvenirs. Passing into La Boca, you will stroll along the photographic Caminito and take in the sight of the Alberto José Armando "La Bombonera" Stadium.

The ceremonies of Holy Week date back to the Middle Ages and are linked to the Spanish liturgy, as Spaniards dominated the island for a long time.

Bosa’s Easter celebration reaches its emotional peak with S’Incontru (The Encounter), a procession that takes place at dawn on Easter Sunday. Two separate processions begin their solemn journey—one carrying the statue of the Risen Christ, the other bearing the Virgin Mary dressed in black. As they wind through the town's narrow, historic streets, led by locals in traditional Sardinian attire, the atmosphere builds with anticipation. The climax unfolds in Bosa’s main square, where the statues meet in a symbolic reunion.

In this experience, you’ll discover that ham carving isn’t just a technique — it’s an art form, practiced with care and reverence. At a family-run business, master carvers will demonstrate how each cut affects the flavor, texture, and aroma. As they work with precision and passion, they’ll explain the different parts of the ham and the history and tradition behind it.

Your expert host will explain why true Iberian ham can only be produced in Spain, highlight its distinctive characteristics, and explore the different quality levels, from natural grain-fed ham to the prized 100% Iberian acorn-fed ham — and why each deserves its place on the plate.

This experience takes place in a family business in Madrid’s historic Austrias neighborhood. It’s run by the third generation of the Arroyo family, whose grandfather founded the business 65 years ago. They still source their jamón ibérico from the same farms — small producers who raise black Iberian pigs on oak-covered dehesa. The slow, natural process gives the ham its marbled texture and depth of flavor. 

Iberian ham has been part of Spanish culinary tradition for over 2,000 years. In this experience, you’ll learn how the carving itself becomes a craft — it takes years to learn how to follow the grain, anticipate the cut, and honor every part of the ham.

They’ll guide you through the anatomy of the ham, showing how each cut reveals something different in texture, aroma, and flavor. This experience begins with a walk through the historic center of Tempio Pausania, known as the “City of Stone” for its granite buildings. The route leads to the old railway station, a Liberty-style building opened in 1931, with original wooden interiors and pictures by Sardinian artist Giuseppe Biasi.

The highlight is a private, exclusive performance by the Coro Gabriel, one of Sardinia’s oldest vocal ensembles. They sing the tasgia, a rare polyphonic chant that evolved from the UNESCO-listed canto a tenore. Unlike its predecessor, the tasgia features all four voices singing lyrics and includes improvisational shifts in tone and harmony, echoing elements of jazz. With fewer than twenty practitioners left, this is a rare chance to hear it live.

Gianmario, a native of Tempio and a member of the choir, shares insights into this evolving tradition. His ties to the group offer an intimate perspective on Sardinian culture, set in the town that has long been the cultural heart of Gallura.

What makes this experience special is the rare chance to meet the singers themselves and hear the tasgia performed in a setting that enhances both its sound and meaning. This chant survives only in northern Sardinia, and is normally preserved within small, tight-knit communities. Here, it opens up to you.

The performance takes place inside Tempio’s old train station, a quiet, evocative building from the 1930s. It's the only public site in Sardinia where you can still see original murals by Giuseppe Biasi, one of Sardinia’s most important painters, whose work shaped the island’s modern visual identity.

Gianmario, the bass voice of the choir, welcomes you into this world not as a spectator passing by, but as a guest who is invited to immerse in the shared emotion of it. While you’re in Rome, this immersive masterclass offers the perfect chance to discover the wines of its surrounding countryside—Lazio, a region often overlooked yet rich in character and complexity. Held at Maurizio’s wine club in the city, the two-hour session is guided by sommeliers Maurizio and Frank, whose work with small producers has helped bring Lazio’s native wines to light.

Growing up amid the windswept dunes of Concón and the bohemian streets of Valparaíso kindled David's appreciation for photography, nature, and art. He graduated from the University of Playa Ancha and went on to work as a Software Engineer, while flexing his skills behind the lens. 

As a self-taught photographer, David has honed his talent working with both landscapes and portraiture. He has an experimental style and a keen eye for spotting easily-missed details He has a special ability to see the potential in the simple aspects of local reality and culture, and always seeks to capture them in an original way through his photography. He works with a Canon DSLR, using 50mm and 18-55mm lenses for regular shots and a 300mm lens to capture distant subjects with clarity and depth.

In this studio visit you'll meet an architect who is playing with ways to use objects the city leaves behind — cement blocks, plastic crates, shattered tiles, and other things that often slip into invisibility. 

Inspired by his background in environmental design, Javier transforms such fragments into sculptural furniture such as chairs, tables and shelves. Each piece is a constellation of temporalities and forgotten stories, a collection and reconfiguration of objects found throughout CDMX, which Javier sources himself.

Javier will welcome you to his studio and share his process, sharing how walking, gathering, and assembling have become methods to map the city and its leftovers. He'll discuss what his design work says about Mexico City, and also how he's approached this work in other cities such as London, where he's been an artist in residence. 

The experience offers a unique window into how design can be responsive, situated and radically resourceful, as well as being sculptural.

Javier Guzmán Cervantes is an artist, designer, and builder based in Mexico City. His work explores residual realities in the contemporary metropolis, developing domestic infrastructures, furniture, and structural systems through low-tech and autonomous processes out of debris, residues, and material fragments gathered through urban exploration. In this process, he engages with concepts such as degrowth, living otherwise, and post-development, questioning the role of art, design and construction in relation to sustainability and community.

Through direct contact with the city, Javier's practice transforms discarded objects into local resources, creating not only tactical approaches to construction but also serving as traces of life and local processes within the city: revealing stories.

In 2023, he founded Ex Soup, an art and design experiment based in Mexico City that uses walking, urban wandering, and low-tech methods to collect and reassemble the city’s remains.

Corn has been a core element of the Mexican diet for thousands of years. Archaeologists have found maize cobs dating back to 4300 BC. Traditionally, the ingredient represented sustenance, fertility, and ancestral wisdom.

In this food workshop, you'll discover why corn is a much more diverse plant than you might imagine. You will also learn, hands-on, using traditional tools and the Nixtamal process, how to transform this magical ingredient into a tortilla.

After making your own quesadilla and salsa, you'll take a brief walk through the neighborhood and enjoy a couple of taquería pit stops.  “Tourism has definitely changed things,” she admits. “Places like La Rambla are overcrowded. Many locals have been pushed out by the rise in tourist rentals. But Catalans are proud of their traditions. They’ve started resisting these changes to preserve the city’s character.” That character is what Manila has grown to love. “I chose Barcelona because I felt an immediate connection. The Mediterranean lifestyle, the weather, the proximity to mountains and sea — it feels like home but also stretches me outside my comfort zone.” She relishes the contrast to her native Sicily. “I can take a train and be skiing in the Pyrenees in just over an hour. Where else do you get that?”
What keeps her in Barcelona is the balance of tradition and openness. “The cuisine, the olive groves, the vineyards — they remind me of southern Italy, but they’re uniquely Catalan.” And the city’s connectivity has made it easy to stay rooted while maintaining close ties to Italy. She speaks with admiration about the people: “Catalans are proud, resilient, and united. They have a strong sense of identity and community. On a snowy winter evening, we stand on a ridge and see the brightly-lit church through the mist ... an evocative but calming place. 

Very different from 1000 years ago as Vikings stood here and declared the laws of the land ... the oldest continuous two weeks in the summer parliament. People heard from their leaders, settled disputes and traded.

The best part of the Golden Circle circuit, Thingvellir National Park has hiking trails, waterfalls, summer cottages for the affluent (singer Björk has a home) and the Silfra fissure divers can explore between the American and Euroasian tectonic plates.

The sky is changing color. We should leave, we tell each other ... but we are drawn to the scenery like a moth to the flame.

If you are in Georgia it's a must visit place here. Only 3 hours from Tbilisi and you are in the place of indescribable beauty.

Catalonia, Spain, is home to the breathtaking Vall de Núria, a stunning valley nestled in the Pyrenees Mountains at an altitude of 2,000 meters (6,560 feet). Accessible only by a scenic rack railway or hiking trails, this serene destination offers spectacular views, pristine lakes, and a peaceful retreat for nature lovers and adventure seekers. Known for its shrine to the Virgin of Núria, this valley is a pilgrimage site as well as a hub for outdoor activities, including hiking, skiing, and horseback riding.


1. Take the Cremallera de Núria, a scenic rack railway that winds through lush forests and alpine meadows, offering breathtaking views of the Pyrenees.

2. Visit the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Núria, a historic pilgrimage site with beautiful mountain views and spiritual significance for Catalan visitors.

France

There are so many museums and art galleries in Paris that it's hard to decide where to go first. Most tourists want to stand in line at the Louvre, admire Claude Monet, or visit the National Museum of Art – but as so few check out the famous street art of Paris, we knew it was our thing to do.
There is so much history behind each piece of art or painting out there that it is worth investing some extra money and time to immerse yourself in Paris's artistic exploration fully. We did a whole self-organized art walk visiting 7 streets, with an audio tour, and visited the different places on our own (though you can get a personal guide). 
Our highlight was Rue Saint-Maur – a 2km-long street painted mainly by the artist Kashink. The artist plays with classic elements of Parisian street art and combines them with modern political messages.
