Founded in 1588 by Grand Duke Ferdinando I de' Medici, this museum showcases exquisite objects made from stone and is a leading center for marble inlay and art restoration. Top 3 reasons to visit:
1 - The Opificio delle Pietre Dure's origin lies in the establishment of a court-funded laboratory by Ferdinando I de' Medici. Initially focused on semi-precious mosaic work and inlays, the art form was notably used in the decoration of the Cappella dei Principi in the Basilica di San Lorenzo, the Medici family's final resting place. Famous for being Frida Kahlo’s weekly shopping spot, Mercado Coyoacán is a little more expensive, but once you've tried the Tostadas de Coyoacán or fresh pulpo, you’ll forget about the price. For more hipster, upper-class street food, you can also try Mercado Roma – I’ve had some delicious sweet Pan de Los Muertos.

I was told that I would find the best cup of coffee in the world in Colombia’s Zona Cafetera. I found some of the tastiest beans in little vintage cafes with vintage coffee machines. The coffee plantations nearby offered tasting sessions too. Part of the fun Is to climb on the back of a colorful Jeep to get to the plantations.

On the Coffee Road, in the colorful town of Salento, the biggest attraction - besides the coffee and the arepas - is its traditional architecture of one- and two-story buildings, with walls painted white, and doors and window frames in the brightest of candy colors.

Jamaica

Jake’s is a Jamaican treasure. In fact, where it’s located is actually called Treasure Beach. 

Getting there from Montego Bay Airport takes a full two and a half hours on rough country roads - more than three if you stop at the jerk chicken place as we did. We stayed in a colorful bohemian cottage on the sea and tasted our first Ackee and Codfish - Jamaica’s breakfast dish - here. 

The evenings are for crooning to live music - reggae or calypso — before falling asleep to the sound of the waves breaking on the rocks literally at your feet.

5. Many works are dynamic and ever-changing, as new pieces replace older ones, ensuring that every visit offers fresh surprises. 
Visitor Tip: Allocate 1.5 to 3 hours to wander through the streets, ideally in the morning or late afternoon for better lighting and fewer crowds. Wear comfortable shoes and keep a camera ready for unexpected gems around every corner.
