Your day begins at Ginkaku-ji — the Silver Pavilion — in the northeastern part of Kyoto, at the foot of the Higashiyama mountains. Unlike its more gilded sibling, Kinkaku-ji, this temple was never meant to dazzle. Built by Shogun Ashikaga Yoshimasa in the 15th century, it reflects a life of restraint, beauty, and retreat. You’ll enter through stone paths that wind past moss-covered groves and raked white sand, where silence is part of the design.

Florencia Campos Correa, or Flor, is a Chilean-Spanish textile designer and author based in Santiago. Her business, Ullvuna, is dedicated to portable pin loom weaving kits which are available globally. Much of Flor's inspiration comes from her passion and appreciation for Chilean culture and people. She deeply admires the landscapes and nature as well as the ancient fables she absorbed as a child while traveling every corner of Chile by caravan with her family.

Flor has authored several books packed with vibrant pattern inspiration and projects. Her nature motifs are translated into floral crochet designs published in a British magazine and she has penned a children's story which inspires creativity and entrepreneurship in the youngest of budding designers.

Her connection to mezcal runs deep, shaped by family traditions where the spirit was always paired with music and food. Since 2010, she has played an active role in elevating Guerrero mezcal on both national and international stages.

Juan Pablo is a traditional music promoter, singer, and composer for film, theatre, and collaborative projects. He is also a dedicated advocate for preserving Cardenche music in Mexico and abroad, helping to keep this rare vocal tradition alive through performance and education.

She has lived in the adobe town for six years, spending the past four creating sculptures and functional pieces inspired by the desert landscape. Antonia preserves Indigenous molding techniques while working with a local clay she has adapted to suit her own style and needs.

Before following her heart north, Antonia briefly worked in advertising and later as a pastry chef in Puerto Varas. Although cooking remains one of her passions, she found her true calling in San Pedro after a chance encounter with ceramics and stoneware. Primarily self-taught, Antonia draws inspiration from the stark landscapes, resilient nature, and connections she has built with the Atacameño community.
