Chilean textile entrepreneur Florencia “Flor” Campos Correa has curated this experience as a cultural commentary on Chilean/Andean handcrafts and an opportunity to connect with modern makers in Santiago. 

It starts with a relaxed hike up the grassy slopes of Cerro Calán in Las Condes for panoramic views of the modern city and surrounding Andes — the birthplace of Chilean textile crafts. During this, Flor explains artisanal culture and discusses how her own methods fuse Indigenous, modern, and global techniques. This gentle walk takes around an hour and is suitable for most fitness levels. 

The second part of the experience takes place at Los Dominicos Craft Village, a traditional heritage zone and cultural hub dating to 1544. Flor will enable conversations with artisans and provide cultural context to their methods. Artisans set up workshops in these adobe structures during the 1970s/1980s which now function as a shopping hub with informal demonstrations. The Roman Amphitheater in Via del Teatro Romano, Trieste, boasts a rich history dating back to the end of the 1st century BC. This impressive structure, dating back to the 1st century AD, offers visitors a captivating glimpse into the grandeur and spectacle of Roman civilization. Key highlights:
1 - The Roman Amphitheater, carved out of rock, once seated thousands of spectators, eagerly gathered for gladiatorial combats and public spectacles. Its elliptical structure, with the remnants of tiered seating and central arena, evokes the powerful aura of ancient Roman entertainment and social life. The structure, hidden over the centuries by surrounding buildings, was rediscovered in 1814 and fully unearthed in 1938 during a demolition. 
2 - This archaeological marvel provides invaluable insights into Roman architectural genius. You can see the sophisticated design and engineering techniques used in its construction, including the intricate system of underground passages where gladiators and animals were held before contests, showcasing Roman innovation and craftsmanship.
3 - Notable for its architecture that utilizes the natural slope of the hill, the amphitheater could accommodate between 3,500 to 6,000 spectators and was built primarily of masonry, with a wooden stage. Today, the amphitheater serves as a vibrant cultural venue.
