Visit the former caravanserai, the soup kitchen (imaret) that fed the poor, and the medical clinic (darüşşifa) that served travelers and locals alike. As you move through the complex, you’ll see how Ottoman ideals of charity, urban planning, and commerce were woven together. First of all, we will meet with the attendees at our puppet museum located in, Faikpaşa Caddesi which is full of old buildings, antique and creative stores. We will make a small tour for the collection we have in the puppet museum from all over the world. After the small tour, we will have local tea and cookies with the attendees. We will start to explain the written history that we have from the beginning 16th century: how Karagöz traveled, how he expanded and how he lives today.  
Then we will get our tools to experience the process of making: 
- Deciding which part of Karagöz will be made, 
- shaping the camel leather with special tools(cutting, carving, piercing) 
- Painting the figure
(Tips of shaping the leather will be shared.)
Finally, with a full figure, all attendees see and experience of acting the figure on a shadow theatre curtain.

This was my first time visiting Gigantes Islands, and I was struck by the raw beauty of its cliffs and crystal-clear waters that surround its secluded beaches. There are several islands that you can hop in to and my favorite one is what the locals call the “mini boracay” because the sand sure feels like that in Boracay. Other islands are as equally awesome like the Bantigue sandbar, and Cabugay. We also explored the local neighborhood and sure has its own interesting stories. For one, I discovered that due to the abundance of scallops in the island, there’s a neighborhood that stands on a land area that’s made up of scallop shells that is meters thick! Just imagine how much scallops shells that would’ve taken. There’s a lot to explore but if you just want something that’s relaxed, you can just have a good beer by the beach from sunset til night. 

Gigantes Islands

The largest (not highest) waterfalls in the world are located in Puerto Iguazu, Argentina. It's a breathtaking spectacle to hear, see and feel the masses of water cascading down the landscape, and along the way, you'll see beautiful rainbows, coatis, and birds.
To get there, you'll fly to Puerto Iguazú and stay at one of the local hostels. We took this colorful train to the falls, and then you hike a bit on very accessible trails. Take your camera, because you'll want to show these views to your friends and family back home. Later in the evening you can watch the sunset and have a nice view of the three-country border – a river that separates Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil.
After visiting the Argentine side of the falls, you can take a trip to Brazil to experience the other side of the falls as well. On the Brazilian side, you can also visit a local botanical garden where you can observe mockingbirds, butterflies, monkeys, and other tropical animals.
