Moro "Newenki" Pichilaf specializes in wood engraving, stencil art, and painting alongside mural art with fellow graffiti artists Don Peluca and Cuellimangui. Fernanda González works with plasticine installations whereas Klaus Tordo is a master at metal engraving and the botanical practice of Kokedama.

This 4-hour cooking class shares Valparaíso's culinary legacy through four dishes celebrating the fusion of Chilean heritage and European influences from when the seaport was at its heyday. The cooking experience and wine pairing take place in the home of Al Ramirez, a sommelier and street artist from Valparaíso. In keeping with the spirit of "sobremesa", the cherished Chilean tradition of lingering around the table, the experience is unhurried and focuses as much on human stories as kitchen secrets. 

You'll start with every Porteño's favorite sharer—Calugas de Pescado, a platter of fried fish drizzled with lemon. Al Ramirez is a tourism entrepreneur, Sommelier, chef, and street artist from Valparaíso who thrives off connections with people from all walks of life. In the instance that Al is unavailable to host, his cooking experience will be led by one of his close friends from his Barbosa Food and Wine Club. This is a passionate group of cooks and wine lovers who regularly gather to experiment, share recipes, and create unforgettable food and wine pairings together.

Argentina

Saddle up for a 1.5-hour horseback trek in the Andes Mountains, carefully timed to coincide with sunset. As the last of the light fades, you will return to the gaucho estate to continue the evening, socializing with the family over a traditional Argentine asado (barbecue) featuring roasted vegetables, salads, fresh bread, and local Mendocinian wine. After dinner, gather around the bonfire with a glass of wine and enjoy a brief folk guitar session—a traditional gaucho touch that brings the night to life under a sky heavy with stars.

This experience begins with a walk through the historic center of Tempio Pausania, known as the “City of Stone” for its granite buildings. The route leads to the old railway station, a Liberty-style building opened in 1931, with original wooden interiors and pictures by Sardinian artist Giuseppe Biasi.

The highlight is a private, exclusive performance by the Coro Gabriel, one of Sardinia’s oldest vocal ensembles. They sing the tasgia, a rare polyphonic chant that evolved from the UNESCO-listed canto a tenore. Unlike its predecessor, the tasgia features all four voices singing lyrics and includes improvisational shifts in tone and harmony, echoing elements of jazz. With fewer than twenty practitioners left, this is a rare chance to hear it live.

Gianmario, a native of Tempio and a member of the choir, shares insights into this evolving tradition. His ties to the group offer an intimate perspective on Sardinian culture, set in the town that has long been the cultural heart of Gallura.

What makes this experience special is the rare chance to meet the singers themselves and hear the tasgia performed in a setting that enhances both its sound and meaning. Exo Gonia Village

Chile’s Piedras Rojas (Red Rocks) is a breathtaking natural wonder in the Atacama Desert, known for its striking red rock formations, turquoise lagoons, and dramatic Andean landscapes. Located at an altitude of over 4,000 meters (13,100 feet) near the Argentine border, this otherworldly destination offers some of the most vivid contrasts in color found in the region, making it a paradise for photographers and nature lovers alike.

Piedras Rojas (Red Rocks)

In Santorini, we discover and fall in love with Vinsanto, the local dessert wine. So we drive up to Hatzidakis - a charming and intimate local winery - to check out the local grapes. The vines grow low to the ground and close to the road and we almost drive into them while looking for parking. 

The grapes are grown in an unusual way, not in arbors but low to the ground, in baskets made of vine stalks themselves. They are organic and are watered mostly by dew as the island has low water supply.

The tasting room is cave-like and we take home several bottkes of the small batch Vinsanto they produce.

Vinsanto

Located in Catalonia’s Priorat wine region, Falset is a charming medieval town renowned for its wine culture, historic architecture, and scenic vineyards. Surrounded by rolling hills and terraced vineyards, this small town offers a perfect blend of history, gastronomy, and natural beauty. It’s an essential stop for wine enthusiasts eager to taste some of Spain’s finest DOQ Priorat and DO Montsant wines, as well as for travelers seeking a relaxing, authentic Catalan experience.


1. Wine Tourism: Visit renowned wineries like Celler de Capçanes and Clos Mogador for tours and tastings of Garnacha and Cariñena wines, famous for their rich, full-bodied character.

Essaouira, Morocco, is renowned for its bohemian spirit and vibrant art scene, making it a magnet for creatives, free spirits, and art lovers. Since the 1960s, when icons like Jimi Hendrix and Cat Stevens frequented the city, Essaouira has blossomed into a hub for hippie culture and contemporary Moroccan art. Today, its winding medina streets are dotted with eclectic galleries, artisan workshops, and laid-back cafés, all infused with a relaxed, seaside vibe.
