This sophisticated yet relaxed private dining experience takes place in the tasting room of an Argentine chef and English sommelier in Palermo Hollywood, Buenos Aires. Five courses are prepared in the on-site kitchen using seasonal ingredients and recipes rooted in Argentine home cooking. The menu celebrates Aby’s family recipes while weaving together pre-Columbian traditions, the flavors brought by generations of immigrants, and the regional character found across Argentina.

As the evening unfolds, Bertie hosts the table, pairing each course with a small-production Argentine wine from Mendoza and beyond. Bertie, an English Sommelier, and Aby, an Argentine chef, are a Buenos Aires-based couple dedicated to sharing food, wine, and excellent company. Aby has been cooking traditional Argentine food since she was a child — helping at family gatherings — and Bertie has worked as a professional sommelier since 2008. 

The couple met by chance in Rio de Janeiro in 2014. What began as conversations about flavors and cultures soon grew into a partnership rooted in curiosity and hospitality. Since 2016, they’ve been running wine discovery and cooking classes together, creating meaningful experiences that celebrate regional traditions, local producers, and the joy of exploring Argentina one glass at a time. Andrea Bustillos, trained in Madrid, previously directed a gallery focused on contemporary painting and now leads a national program supporting Mexico’s Creative Industries. Andrea Villers, educated in Granada with a master’s in Curatorial Studies from UNAM, runs a consultancy that develops exhibition projects and advises on cultural strategy.

Their experience is in-depth and shaped by their knowledge of the local art scene and strong relationships with artists, curators, and institutions. On rare occasions when they are unavailable, their trusted colleagues Jaime and Mario—also seasoned art historians—will host in their place.

This special experience takes you off the beaten path into the world of a truly local family in Lunlunta, Mendoza. For over 30 years, Juan Marcos Juricich — a softly spoken agronomist and beekeeper — has lived and worked on this small finca with his children, who now help him run the place. Upon arrival, you'll explore the estate with Federico, the youngest son and a winemaker who produces organic wine from grapes lovingly grown on the family plot. You'll sample his latest blends fresh from the tanks and, if you like what you taste, you can even bottle your own wine to take home. 

Through Federico, you will learn about Juan's storied beekeeping and organic honey production methods. There is a chance to try the honey and, depending on the season, hold the hives. To wrap up the experience, Federico will fire up the parrilla for a home-cooked asado, served under the trees with laughter, stories, and wine. This is not a show. It’s a slice of Mendoza life — shared the way it’s always been.

This experience brings you into a real working farm and the home of a family who live off the land, producing wine and honey. You’ll get up close with the bees, understand their significance to the local ecosystem, and learn how Juan, an agricultural engineer and respected apiculturalist, specializes in queen bee breeding and sustainable apiculture.

This experience is a sensorial journey through Kadıköy that reveals Istanbul’s cultural identity through its drinks. You’ll begin with Turkish coffee brewed with mastica, and learn how, in Turkish tradition, fortunes are read in the coffee grounds.

At the next stop, you’ll taste sherbet, the Ottomans’ favorite refreshment, and ancestor of Italian sorbet. Depending on the season, you might try boza, a fermented winter drink, or salep, a warming blend of orchid root + milk.

Then you’ll visit a traditional tavern for the rakı ritual — how it’s poured, paired and enjoyed slowly with cheese, melon and şalgam (pickled turnip juice) to temper the heat of anise. This is where you’ll hear about Turkey’s fermentation story, from yoğurt and tarhana to ayran.

Neoclassical Palácio da Bolsa

Chile’s Puritama Hot Springs are a hidden oasis in the Atacama Desert, offering a series of geothermal pools surrounded by lush vegetation in an otherwise arid landscape. Located about 30 km (19 miles) from San Pedro de Atacama, these natural thermal baths are rich in minerals and maintain a soothing temperature between 28–33°C (82–91°F).
