This sophisticated yet relaxed private dining experience takes place in the tasting room of an Argentine chef and English sommelier in Palermo Hollywood, Buenos Aires. Five courses are prepared in the on-site kitchen using seasonal ingredients and recipes rooted in Argentine home cooking. As the evening unfolds, Bertie hosts the table, pairing each course with a small-production Argentine wine from Mendoza and beyond. Bertie, an English Sommelier, and Aby, an Argentine chef, are a Buenos Aires-based couple dedicated to sharing food, wine, and excellent company. Aby has been cooking traditional Argentine food since she was a child — helping at family gatherings — and Bertie has worked as a professional sommelier since 2008. 

The couple met by chance in Rio de Janeiro in 2014. What began as conversations about flavors and cultures soon grew into a partnership rooted in curiosity and hospitality. Since 2016, they’ve been running wine discovery and cooking classes together, creating meaningful experiences that celebrate regional traditions, local producers, and the joy of exploring Argentina one glass at a time. Mexico

Explore the diversity of mezcal in this in-depth guided tasting experience. You'll meet your host in Coyoacán, a colorful, artistic and historic oasis in Mexico City. Begin with a brief walk through some of the area’s most emblematic sites, such as the Capilla de San Juan Bautista and La Casa de la Malinche.

Then, you will gather around the communal table in Andrea's studio, where she will share a curated selection of mezcals. For each mezcal you taste, you’ll learn about its region, agave variety, the people who make it, the cultural significance, and the production techniques behind it.

Andrea will lead you through a structured tasting method she developed, designed to explore mezcal’s full range of tones and expressions. At each step, you’ll be encouraged to reflect on what you taste and share your impressions.

Andrea is an anthropologist by training, Master Mezcalier by trade, and a singer. She has fifteen years of experience promoting Guerrero State's mezcal culture and traditions, an area not typically associated with mezcal, but with plenty of flavors that are a joy to discover.

Andrea's own work in mezcal emerged from an extensive family history, where numerous memories and experiences have been intrinsically linked to the enjoyment of this spirit, always accompanied by good food and music. Since 2010, Andrea has been an integral part of the new narrative being woven around mezcal from Guerrero, actively contributing to its recognition and appreciation both nationally and internationally. 

Andrea's knowledge encompasses not only the specific culture of Guerrero, but extends to the diverse traditions that exist throughout the length and breadth of Mexico. She is certified as a Master Mezcalier and as a Leader in Food and Beverage Sensory Evaluation.

Chile

This 3-hour private experience is divided into a visit to the Chilean Museum of Pre-Columbian Art and a relaxed weaving workshop with Flor—a passionate textile artist and entrepreneur from Santiago. Over coffee and cake in a beautiful setting, Flor will introduce you to the art of pin loom weaving: a portable and creative method of weaving using a small frame with pins or nails. After this, you will visit the museum and tour the collection of over 1,000 pieces of Indigenous art, focusing on textiles. 

During the mini workshop, Flor will share simple techniques to start your own woven design—something you can continue during your travels. This also serves as a moment for Flor to provide an overview of Chilean textile design from past until present. As a precursor for the museum, she’ll share stories about the cultural significance of weaving in Chile and explain how traditional techniques continue to inspire contemporary makers. The price includes a mini weaving kit and refreshments.

Florencia Campos Correa, or Flor, is a Chilean-Spanish textile designer and author based in Santiago. Her business, Ullvuna, is dedicated to portable pin loom weaving kits which are available globally. Much of Flor's inspiration comes from her passion and appreciation for Chilean culture and people. She deeply admires the landscapes and nature as well as the ancient fables she absorbed as a child while traveling every corner of Chile by caravan with her family.

Flor has authored several books packed with vibrant pattern inspiration and projects. Her nature motifs are translated into floral crochet designs published in a British magazine and she has penned a children's story which inspires creativity and entrepreneurship in the youngest of budding designers. 

This is Mexico’s story told through three spaces within Chapultepec, the great forest in Mexico City — a journey through its origins, empires and modern vision.

You begin at National Museum of Anthropology, one of the world’s most remarkable cultural institutions. Mexico City’s National Museum of Anthropology is one of Latin America’s most important museums — a vital space for understanding the depth and diversity of Mexico’s cultural heritage. Opened in 1964, it preserves and celebrates the pre-Columbian civilizations that shaped the country: the Aztec, Maya, Olmec, and Zapotec. The building itself is an icon of modern Mexican architecture — a vast courtyard shaded by a monumental concrete “umbrella,” its single central column carved with mythic reliefs.

Inside, you move through galleries that feel like time slowed down. Among the most famous pieces are the Aztec Sun Stone, a massive calendar disk that encodes the Aztec cosmos, and the colossal Olmec heads carved from basalt. You’ll also encounter the intricate Maya stelae and treasures from the Tomb of Pakal the Great in Palenque — touchstones of an imagination that still defines Mexico’s identity.

Anthropology Museum

If you choose Chapultepec Castle instead of Museo Tamayo, Andrea will arrange to visit this first — so you can make the climb while the hill is still cool and shaded.

Perched high above the city, the castle commands sweeping views of the valley and stands as a symbol of Mexico’s layered history. Built in the late 18th century, it has served many lives — first as colonial palace, then as residence of Emperor Maximilian I and Empress Carlota during the Second Mexican Empire, and later as official home of Mexico’s presidents. Today, it houses the National Museum of History, where rooms are preserved with 19th-century furnishings, imperial artifacts, and murals tracing the country’s struggle for independence and revolution.

Highlights include Maximilian’s ornate chambers, the Hall of Battles, and murals by Diego Rivera and other great Mexican artists. From the terraces, weather/visibility permitting, you can see the city stretching below — green canopy to skyline.

After your morning exploration through Mexico’s past and modern expressions, Andrea will take you to a restaurant for an extensive lunch where you'll get to try various dishes representing some of the best of Mexico City cuisine.

From there, you visit the Sala de Arte Público Siqueiros, a remarkable insitution that preserves the experimental studio and public mission of David Alfaro Siqueiros, one of Mexico’s great muralists. Housed in the artist’s former home and workshop, the building still bears the traces of his process — large-scale murals, technical studies, and the curved walls designed for his “Polyangular” method, meant to let art move with the viewer.

You walk the line between art and activism, between creation and conviction — a fitting conclusion to the day.

The afternoon seeks to tie the day’s themes together: Mexico’s art as memory, power, and reinvention. You begin at Uxmal, the best-known city of the Puuc region and UNESCO World Heritage site. Built between the 7th and 10th centuries, Uxmal is known for its well-preserved architecture and refined decorative style. Disko Bay is the Iceberg Factory for 10% of Greenland's icebergs. Sadly, production has increased in recent years, with Spring melts as early as April.

Nothing prepares you for the disorientation - and wonderment - of the brilliance of a midnight Sun. Especially when surrounded by massive icebergs that reflect and mirror the sky and the sea.

I don't remember seeing this yesterday, I tell the boat captain, is this a new work of art? He laughs, and tells me that everyday is  a bit different. 

The midnight boat trip in end-July - as the sun sets just for a few minutes - is the best time to see the sky’s amazing colors reflected on the icebergs.
